How does a hot water dispenser work
Tea machines or hot water dispensers are a good choice for uncomplicated tea enjoyment. These great kitchen helpers prepare hot drinks in no time - without waiting long for the kettle to click. Simply select the amount of water and temperature on the ready-to-use device, place a cup below the water dispenser and start at the push of a button. Since only exactly the desired amount of water is heated to the desired temperature, every process saves water and energy. Up to 50% compared to conventional kettles!
Advantages
With a hot water dispenser or a tea machine you have the opportunity to get hot water within a short time. Commercially available kettles usually only have the function of boiling water and it often takes several minutes. Furthermore, with the HW 660 you can choose between several temperature levels and water quantity. This not only saves time, but also energy and water, as only the amount that is actually needed is heated.
Temperature levels
The temperature selection takes place in seven steps: 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, or 100 °C can be selected. The option of individual temperature selection is perfect, especially for tea lovers. The quick, hot water is also very suitable for a soothing hot lemon and anything that requires hot water.
Brewing temperatures
The right temperature ensures optimal tea enjoyment. Connoisseurs know that each type of tea needs its own individual water temperature to achieve the perfect enjoyment. Boiling water would destroy delicate green and white teas.
Optimal brewing temperatures
- White tea/green tea: 70°C
- Oolong: 80°C
- Fruit tea/herbal tea: 90 °C
- Black tea: 100°C
Water quality
With an integrated water filter, the HW 660 ensures perfect water quality. The hot water dispenser comes with a matching water filter. For intensive use, we recommend changing the filter after approx. 3 months, but at the latest after 6 months. You can find the right accessories in our online shop.
